Well...Jesse and I have decided to try house hunting again. We didn't have the greatest experience the last time. This time went way smoother. We found a house that we both love in Pleasant Hill...Its a 4/split home with 3 bedrooms...finished basement...and a two car garage...basically has everything we had on our list. Doesn't have a flat yard like Jesse wanted...he of course had this great idea of wanting to build a ice hockey rink in the winter...go figure..lol...We close on February 24th if everything goes well. Had the inspection today and there were only minor issues...guess thats a good sign...Not getting excited till we actually have the keys in our hands.

Eastons 3 month pictures
Easton's 3 months today..WOW...I want my little newborn back..he's getting so big. He weighs 11lbs 13oz. STill on the small size. I've started back to work and am actually pumping 3 times at work. Its a hassle but i want Easton to have the best milk possible for a while yet...even though i'm not producing a whole lot of milk..its still some.
Easton's sleeping patterns are still all over the place. He wakes up several times during the night to eat/nurse. Its very tiring on mommy and daddy. Daddy has been getting up more and more helping out since Easton is bottle feeding as well.
Easton is starting to smile, laugh and talk more and more each day. He's found his voice so he has a lot of fun babbling away and talking. Its so cute. I love his little voice. He still at times shows us the Terridactle in him when he's upset but it only lasts for a few minutes. He has started to blow bubbles with his spit. Its the cutest thing. I love watching him every day and learning all the new things he's learning on a daily basis. He loves his hands..he watches his hands all day long..its cute because it looks like he's studying them and trying to figure out what they do..his hands are constantly moving...At night he loves listening to his sea horse. It helps him fall asleep at night...he also likes watching his mobile. Some of the other things he likes to do is play under his activity gym. I started mixing ceral with formula to see if it would help him sleep better. I think it has a little but he's still up almost every 2-3 hours.
We had Easton's 3 month pictures taken today and he did so well...didn't fuss until we were finishing up the last picture..what a trooper..Jesse was even a trooper...
Well its been a couple of weeks since i've been back to work. Still an adjustment since Easton is still waking up in the middle of the night to nurse and I"m not getting as much sleep as I was when I was at home with him. No more naps with him during the day..miss those...Jesse has been helping me out with the middle of the night feedings which has been very helpful.
He seems to be doing very well at daycare. Kim loves him and tells me he's the best baby ever...of course she would tell me that...he is the best baby ever...he's so incredibly exhausted every day after daycare. The first day he was home he slept from after I picked him up till around 8pm and then went to bed again around 9pm..she said he'd be tired because of all the activity and stimulation going on at daycare. He's starting to adjust better though..only napping after daycare for an hour or so which is nice because I do like to see him and play with him when I get home. Its worked out well where Jesse can drop him off in the mornings and I pick him up at night.

First day back at work
Well today was my first day back at work. I have been dreading this day for the last couple of weeks. I feel my time home a total of 12 weeks has gone by too quickly. Jesse and I dropped Easton off at daycare together. I figured it wouldn't be so hard on me...I was wrong. I handed him over to Kim and he was all smiles...broke my heart..but also made me feel good that he was at least smiling and happy. Kim has texted me through out the day letting me know how he's been doing. Apparently he's doing very well with the new surroundings. 5'oclock can't come soon enough though. I'm so ready to go and pick my little guy up and play with him.

Weigh in Update
For a two week trial, Easton's doctor had me feeding him breast milk and as much formula as he could consume. He wanted to see if Easton was actually going to be a lean and long little boy or if he wasn't getting fed enough from just breast milk. Its been two weeks and we went to the doctor today. Easton weighs 11lbs 3oz. He's almost gained 2 lbs since his last visit. You can definitely tell the little guy has filled out more and isn't as skinny. He actually looks like a baby instead of a newborn. We're going to continue on half formula/ half breast milk and see how he does. He's actually in the 50-75 percentile now instead of the 10 percentile. He's growing so fast....

Eastons First Christmas
Wow...I can't believe Christmas has come and gone and 2011 is already here. Eastons first Christmas was great..he got lots of very cute clothes and toys. Every one loved being able to hold him and play with him.
We ended up going up to Denison for Jesse's families Christmas the weekend of Christmas. We had a great couple of days enjoying lots of food and goodies and seeing family. On Christmas eve we had Christmas with Tom and Marla and Jesses's brother..then went over to Jesse's moms house and then Christmas eve evening we enjoyed time together at Jesse's grandparents house. It was a very busy day and Easton was exhausted but thankfully had a good night and wasn't too fussy. Christmas day we had Jesse's step dads extended Christmas. A couple of us decided to wear our ugly sweaters to Christmas...hopefully it will become a tradition..it was a lot of fun. We had a great dinner, played games and had our gift exchange. I wasn't feeling well so we ended up leaving early and missed the alcohol exchange..lol..one thing that i've never heard of.... What an exhausting weekend. Thankfully Eastons schedule didn't get too messed up and he did very well with all the activities we had.
My sister and I decided to leave on Monday the 26th for SD to enjoy some extra days with our family. My nieces had yet to see the two babies so they were super excited about us coming. The first couple of days were great.. our nieces were like little mothers...always wanting to hold them, feed them and even change their little diapers...that was fine with me...lol...who likes changing diapers...Good thing we had lots of help...I ended up getting the stomach flu really bad so i was basically out of commission for 24 hours. Ben and Jesse were planning on coming Thursday morning but we strongly suggested them to come Wednesday night after Jesse got off work because SD was expecting a huge blizzard..thankfully they took our advice and drove the night to SD..they ended up driving in fog the whole way home but thats better than blowing snow. They arrived safe and sound around 11pm. Thursday morning we woke up to blizzard like conditions. The state ended up closing the interstates and we ended up being snowed in till Saturday when my dad got the tractor out and plowed us out. Being snowed in with two babies...two toddlers and all of us definitely was fun. Thankfully Ben brought his wii and we had fun playing that all day long.
Sunday we had my dads extended families Christmas. Jesse had never met anyone on that side of the family so he was overloaded with new peoples names and faces. It ended up a good time.
Jesse and I ended up leaving back for home Monday morning....I was ready to get back home and back into routine of things. Eastons schedule wasn't too messed up from being gone at least.
