Easton - 22 Months

This month was a hot one. The summer heat is really getting to us. Thankfully it will be fall soon and the weather will be a little cooler. This month some events that happened were the Iowa State Fair, Grandma and Papa Chucks house for the week, mom attended the Woman of Faith Conference, Painting of Easton's new toddler room, Great Grandpa Henningson's 90th birthday party. We had a pretty busy month. Easton is starting to say a ton more. He's more into repeating the words we are saying at the moment. He is doing really well with his animal sounds and pointing out the correct animals in books. He loves for us to read to him. He is great at going to bed and even says nighty night to daddy when i take him up to bed. He still loves his pacy pals and his bunny blanket for bedtime. He's getting so big..i cannot believe he's almost two. Time just flys by it seems. Good thing i try and capture every moment i can with him....probably why he hates having his picture taken...lol.

Iowa State Fair 2012. August 11th and 19th

Easton was going to be gone at Grandma and Papa Chucks house during the week of the fair. We decided to take him to the fair the weekend before. He had a good time eating the famous corn dog and petting all the animals.
We also went back to the fair with Steph and Ben and the boys. I think all the little boys had a great time. The fair is always a fun experience especially now since the boys are getting older and can enjoy it more. The weather was absolutely perfect as well. Couldn't of asked for nicer weather.

Indianola Balloon Festival

For family night this week Indianola was having their annual Balloon Festival. We thought the boys might like playing in the bouncy houses and seeing all the hot air balloons and to top it off there was even a ride along train there that Easton loved. The weather was perfect and the boys had a lot of fun playing in the empty fields. It was a little too windy for the air balloons to fly but we still had a great time getting together
