Easton - 21 Months

Easton is so close to being 2. His 2nd birthday is just around the corner. I still cannot believe that he is growing up so fast. He's at such a cute age right now. He's definitely starting to say a lot more and even making sentences. Some things he says is: I see it, I'm stuck, I poop, I go bye bye. I"m so glad his vocabulary is broadening. The doctor said by the age of 2 if he's not making more sentences than we would have to see a speech therapist. Hopefully that won't be the case since he's picking up way more words and actually making them into sentences. He also loves helping. He loves helping me put the dishes away out of the dishwasher..especially the silver wear, helping with the laundry..putting the wet clothes in the dryer and getting his own diapers and wipes when he needs a diaper change. He is infatuated with trains. This kid loves trains and is constantly playing with his toy trains and going "cho, cho". It's the cutest thing ever. I've decided to choose the Train theme as his theme for his 2 year old birthday party. Cannot wait to start planning as it is only a couple of months away. This month we bought Easton a jeep powerwheels..just like Jesse's jeep. He's scared to death of it. Hopefully when he gets a little older he'll enjoy riding in it. Grady sure loves it. He also loves bring Daddy his shoes when it's time to go bye bye. He loves going bye bye and gets so excited when it's time to leave. Not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign. Maybe he just loves riding in the car and looking out the window. This month he also unfortunately fell off the kitchen counter. I tend to sit him up there when i'm getting his milk or he loves helping me cook so he'll sit on the counter. This time, not sure what happened but i walked away for a split second and he fell right off. His knees hit first and then his head. Thankfully his knees broke his fall a little bit. Poor guy was scared to death and so was mommy....guess that will teach me to not put him on the counter or at least be by him at all times when he's sitting up there helping me cook. Needless to say he had a pretty good sized goose egg on his forehead. Some events we did this month was the Henningson Reunion, Indianola Balloon Fair, Blanks Zoo, State fair with Johan and Julie, met Great Grandpa and Donna Mae Kuehnhold at the machine shop and visted Grandma and Grandpa Herman's house for the week to play with all the cousins.

First corn on the cob for the summer - he did great

Loved eating off the corn cob
