I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. Our baby is one year's old today. Can you believe it? We can't. I dislike how fast he's growing up and on his way to being a toddler. It's been great watching him grow up and turn into our little boy. Hes's changed so much over the course of the year. At his one year check up he weighed in at 21lbs and 31 inches long. I think he's going to be tall. Over the course of this month Easton has had two teeth come in (bottom ones), has stood on his own for a couple of seconds (sept 19th), gone car shopping with mom and dad, shopped at Costco for the first time, choked on a cracker at grandmas, early birthday celebration, pumpkin patch with grandpa, grandma and cousins, took his first couple of steps (Oct 2), had a major blow out in his bed...poop everywhere on the bumper his glow worm and all over him....It's been a crazy month....
Grandma was in town for a week in October so we had fun going over to Aunt Stephs and spending time with her and the cousins.
I never thougth Easton would of been walking before he turned one but he's done such a great job. He loves walking to and from Jesse and I and walking with his Lion. He at first wouldn't walk to Jesse but would just fall right away...he's gotten the hang of it now and loves to walk everywhere. Theres no stopping him now.
This month he's especially likes giving zerberts, drooling, mommy biting his toes, talking a lot, rubbing his tongue on his gums because of his new teeth, climbing up the stairs quickly and quietly hoping mommy and daddy doesn't see, bath time, peek a boo, playing "im going to get you", playing with daddies shoes still, attacking pillows, giving high five, walking to and from Jesse and I, reading books and playing with his puzzels.
Some things he dislikes: stroller for an extended period of time still, sitting still in church (going to the nursury now and enjoying that), not being quick enough with his milk, changing his clothes still. new teeth coming in (painful)..lots of long nights rocking and throwing temper tantrums when he doesn't get the remote or a cell phone. .......
Over all I think Jesse and I have had a great first year with Easton. He's for the most part been a pretty mellow and relaxed baby. One of these day's he'll start bucking us and not being so mellow....not looking forward to those days.... Happy 1st Birthday Easton!~ Mommy and Daddy Love You!
